@paul Asked directly I think only few GOP'ers - and their supporters - would say they hope disabled people will just stop being an issue by dying.

Many, however, will in fact admit that they believe those people will "find other ways" to get themselves out of "dependency", and will just close their eyes - often out of willful ignorance - to the fact that one of the ways to no longer be in need is being dead.

It should be made clear that this does not make it any better or less evil.

@jwcph While agree that their supporters might not think this, the framers of this plan and many of the other House GOP members that back it, are of the Ayn Rand persuasions... the weak either live or don't.

Also, by making disabled people wait 5 years, they get sicker and require more care by then. There's no net gain for Medicare, just 3 additional years of suffering.
